This is the third version of Midori's supple soft leather cover, designed to perfectly fit the A5 sized Midori MD Notebook. As with all leather, the MD Leather Cover may not be uniform in its appearance and there may be little marks or wrinkles which are a characteristic of real leather. The leather cover is undyed and so appears a very pale color to begin with. This color will deepen and gradually turn into a tan color with use and passage of time. Interestingly, this cover is made from goat leather rather than cowhide and with previous MD Leather Covers.
We like the fact that the MD Notebook Leather Cover has an integrated pen loop - this avoids the need for a separate stick on pen holder, which isn't always ideal on leather. Also the slots for a credit card or other papers are useful additions.
